For over 40 years, Oroian, Guest & Little, P.C., a premier accounting firm with offices in San Antonio and New Braunfels, Texas, has provided solutions to businesses, individuals, estates and trusts, and not-for-profit organizations. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking self-starters with 3 years of recent public accounting experience to lead tax and accounting engagements for a diversified client base.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and/or review complex individual, corporate and non-profit tax returns including partnership and trust & estate returns
• Lead engagements throughout all phases of accounting including preparation of financial statements, completion of tax research and review of bookkeeping and accounting necessary to support tax return preparation
• Assist partners and principals with tax and advisory services
• Handle IRS and state tax authorities correspondence
• Interact frequently with partners, principals, paraprofessionals and clients on tax return information and deadlines
• Develop and cultivate client relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Associate: 3 years of recent public accounting tax experience
• Manager: 6 years of recent public accounting tax experience
• CPA license required for both positions
• Experience in tax return preparation for various entities and preparing write-ups and financial statements
• Energetic, driven, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong communication, analytical, organizational, problem-solving and PC skills including MS Office and tax software proficiency
• Ability to juggle priorities, manage deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
