As a Clinical Supervisor with OrthoArizona, you will get to:
  • Responsible for daily management and oversight of back-office functions to ensure effective clinical operations.
  • Perform all clinical functions as needed.
  • Recruit, hire, coach and perform all timekeeping management in collaboration with Area Operations Manager or Director.
  • Ensure proper clinical staffing and coverage of all provider teams .
  • Oversee supply, medication, DME ordering.
  • Ensures patient care and workflows are completed according to company policy and procedure.
  • Build and implement system templates, forms, macros, etc.
  • Monitor back-office staff to ensure compliance with all practice policies, MIPS, BPCI or other value-based initiatives, and customer service standards.
  • Serve as a liaison for patient complaints.
  • Perform select administrative duties as required.
  • Coordinate PTO/PST for clinical employees including arranging for coverage and approves/denies PTO and PST.
  • Assign staff workload and adjust as necessary.
  • Perform 90 day and annual performance reviews for all team members.
  • Provide disciplinary action and coaching/performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Review, correct, and approve timecards weekly.
  • Ensure cross training of all staff,
  • Ensure all positions are effectively managed.
  • Address performance issues in a timely and constructive manner.
  • Ensure that office policies are upheld.
  • Interact effectively with billing, PSR Supervisor and management team to ensure consistency in shared duties.
  • Orient and train new staff.
  • Open IT tickets as necessary.
  • Supervise and train Leads providing support at all times.
  • All other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of insurance programs.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understand/Perform training on practice management software.
  • Continue to expand knowledge of practice management software as updates occur.
  • Achieve and maintain Super User status on Practice Management and EMR software.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of qualified Medical Assistant Program, LPN, CMA, or PTR, or equivalent experience.
  • Maintains CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in back-office position.
