Type Of PositionFLSA StatusGeneral DescriptionOrthoNY has open positions for Radiologic Technologist. This position will produce quality diagnostic medical radiographs to ensure proper diagnosis and quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Document an appropriate patient history containing pertinent patient information regarding their condition and including patient limitations;
- Prepare patient for procedure providing instruction and education;
- Select and operate equipment; recognize essential condition for successful completion of procedure;
- Perform Medical Assistant duties when required such as cast removal, stitches and staple removal, dressing changes and other patient needs;
- Assisting physician in patient care as requested;
- Other responsibilities as designated by the Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Manager.
- Minimum of graduation from an accredited school in radiologic technology;
- 1- 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- CPR Preferred.
- Travel between offices as needed. Reliable transportation is required
