1 Materials Management Supervisor Job in Elizabethtown, KY
Osage Plastics is Hiring a Materials Management Supervisor Near Elizabethtown, KY
- Oversight of shipping and receiving
- Will be responsible for the movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse, production plant, and various areas.
- Needs to have prior supervisory experience in a shipping and receiving environment. Our logistics department typically has 2-3 people running materials and loading trucks when properly staffed.
- Will need to assist with loading and unloading trucks when needed
- Will ensure received raw materials are properly labeled for warehousing and processing
- Having a willingness to learn and understand the various types of plastics we deal with daily
- Probing and labeling finished product received from various suppliers
- Generating shipping documents
- Manages inventory and end of day reports
- Must have great organizational skills to properly store and check in the various types of materials
- Thorough forklift experience is necessary
- Proficient in excel
- Good communication skills
- Willing to understand and follow the proper safety guidelines in the manufacturing plant
- Ability to work in all weather conditions. Our plant does not have heat or AC.
- Hours of Operation: Production is on a 4-10 schedule
Friday: Optional Overtime
