Responsibilities:

• Own the design and implementation of our Machine Learning infrastructure.
• Develop highly scalable custom classifiers and models that leverage machine learning, deep learning, and algorithmic approaches for large-scale problems.
• Apply the latest deep and machine learning advances to increase efficacy and performance.
• Integrate, deploy, test, and verify your algorithms and models through simulation and in real-world environments.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deploy AI solutions.
• Produce high-quality, production-ready, readable, maintainable code.

Required Skillsets:

• 8 years of work experience as a machine learning engineer, data scientist, and software developer, preferably at least two years at a seed, Series A, or Series B company
• Lead products or features in developing machine learning models at scale from inception to business impact.
• Deep experience in machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and natural language processing
• Deep knowledge of LLMs concepts - Prompt Engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning LLMs
• Experience building deep learning and transformer model.
• Expert level programming experience in Python, Golang, Java, C/C , and hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.
• Deep knowledge of architectural patterns of large-scale software applications.
• Strong familiarity with NoSQL, SQL, relational, and graph data stores
• Ability to share findings in easy to consume formats, whether that is through dashboards or data modeling.
• Experience working in a cloud environment such as AWS, GCP, Azure
• Experience designing and building data pipelines for production level ML infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Desired Skillsets:

• Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience in a startup environment
• Direct experience with generative AI and LLM research
• Relevant professional experience with one or more of the following: Natural Language Understanding, classification, pattern recognition, recommendation systems, targeting systems, ranking systems, or similar.

Salary: $200k - $265k DOE
