Summary 

This position supports the Enterprise IT & Cyber Infrastructure Division Identity Assurance Branch. The position supports teams of Information Assurance (IA) professionals in developing, implementing, and maintaining cybersecurity information technology solutions to secure business operations across the Air Force. The task entails leading and managing teams of Information Assurance (IA) subject matter experts in policy guidance, product support, implementation strategies, and operational process analysis. Primary technology areas include Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Common Access Card (CAC), and authentication/authorization activities in the Air Force. Requires professional and communications skills needed to coordinate Air Force efforts with both DoD and non-DoD partners. 

Primary Responsibilities 

• Develop and execute project plans in support of program goals and sustainment activities 
• Assign tasks to IA professionals and manage their efforts through project completion 
• Produce, collect, and archive documentation to support activities using established formats and processes 
• Support risk management through identification of risks associated with tradeoffs and technology gaps to include providing risk assessment and mitigation analysis and feedback 
• Identify and analyze operational considerations and constraints that would prevent enterprise solutions from being effectively fielded, operated, and supported by various platforms 
• Provide periodic project reviews and status updates to senior management and customers 
• Assist in the development and improvement of operational processes and procedures 
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects 
• Ability to communicate highly technical information effectively both orally and in writing 
• Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio 
• Knowledge of DoD Acquisition and Risk Management processes 
• Ability to work with a wide variety of contributors in a fast-paced and demanding environment is essential 
• Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule 
• Must be able to regularly stand, walk; sit; use hands to handle, feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. 
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience, or a master’s degree, in a relevant field required 
• Experience in the Cyber/PKI/IA community 
• Experience in supporting the fielding of new PKI or IA associated software or hardware 
• Experience with ServiceNow project management tool 

Clearance

• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a security clearance
