Senior Scrum Master

Job Description:-

  • Serve as Scrum Master and team coach for squads/teams in a program/portfolio.
  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of Agile practices in an Agile program. Identify and provide trainings to promote Agile maturity.
  • Serve as the servant leader for the team to ensure clear communication and organization of the team/program, along with maintaining the production backlog and release plan.
  • Establish cadence for sprints and facilitate the core scrum ceremonies and best practices (Planning, Retrospective, Refinement, Review/Demo, the Scrum of Scrums, release planning workshops, and program inspect and adapt workshop).
  • Facilitate the discussions of complex, high value IT delivery projects that require the coordination of development work or technology work on multiple platforms.
  • Acts as a conduit to other teams and LOBs with which the team is interacting.
  • Utilize Agile tools such as Jira, Mural and Whiteboard for planning and tracking work performed by teams.
  • Track and produce key metrics, dashboards.
  • Serve as Agile knowledge source within the organization. Resolve organization impediments and deflect external interruptions.
  • Identify and attack organizational impediments which limits team productivity and quality and defining transformation vision and goal. Develop solutions and resolve the most complex issues, as necessary.
  • Coach and mentor scrum masters in the program, responsible for the continuous improvement of Agile practices including scaled Agile.
  • Provide Agile leadership in support of senior management on large programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation and Influencing skills.
  • Can work independently.
