Cyber Security Engineer
Contract 6 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and securely configure various OS distributions
- Ensure operational support for systems, servers, and hardware
- Oversee system installations and configurations for regulatory compliance
- Maintain documentation, respond to security vulnerabilities
- Implement and test new technologies with security best practices
- Conduct risk assessments and present security solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Top Secret (Tier 5) security clearance
- Security certifications (Security , CASP , CySA )
- Knowledge of NIST/ISO standards and DoD regulations
- Experience in high-security research computing environments
- Preferred Qualifications
- Counterintelligence polygraph clearance
- Automation experience for Windows and Linux systems
- VMware administration (vRealize, vSphere, NSX, SRM)
- Secure system baseline configuration development
- LDAP authentication and management
- Enterprise storage resource experience
- Systems management tools (SCCM, Centrify, Puppet, Redhat Satellite)
- Active Directory and Group Policy expertise
