Job Type : Full-Time - Alternating Weekends - NO LATE EVENINGS

Pay: Based on Experience

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of dining room and wait staff. Educating, training and overseeing policies and procedures.
• Ensure excellent service to residents, guest and staff and work with culinary team to enhance the dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining room and equipment
• Conduct regular team meetings
• Provide quality assistance for catering events when needed
• Keeping inventory of small wares and restaurant stock.
• Effectively handling and responding to customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Supervising and training Assistant FOH Supervisor(s).
• Implement safe working practices and ensure safety of residents, guests and staff.
• Work with culinary team to ensure quality and service standards are being met.
• Work with catering team to ensure events are staffed and supported.

Qualifications

• Experience with budget control and stock management
• Strong relationship building skills with co-workers and residents
• Flexibility with schedule and hours
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
• Must be able to pass a physical, background check and drug test

Education: High School diploma or GED

Licensure: ServSafe certification

Experience: Minimum of one year waited service experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift weights of up to 25 pounds. Stands, walks a minimum of 50% of the day. Position is subject to mandating or emergency calls.

RELATIONSHIPS: Frequent interaction with staff, residents and guests.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Wet floors, sharp knives, hot pots, pans, racks, and food items.
