Responsibilities
- Check in all trucks (both inbound and outbound) and assign a door
- Verify that all required paperwork is present and update daily receiving log
- Responsible for the accurate logging of receiving and shipping information into Wasp
- Generate and turn in daily shipping and receiving logs
- Be the lead in maintaining orderliness in day to day operations: housekeeping, forklift inspection completions, GMP compliance, FEFO compliance
- Coordinate the loading/unloading of the trucks using available warehouse labor
- Schedule by phone all inbound and outbound trucking appointments adhering to the schedule put forth by supervisor
- Read, write and basic math skills, accuracy, must be detail oriented
- Ability to assume responsibility and exercise good judgment in making decisions within the scope of authority of the position
- Ability to think and work effectively under pressure and accurately complete tasks within established times
