We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team as we open a subacute detoxification unit. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. ```Responsibilities```

- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate

- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers

- Assist with patient examinations and procedures

- Prepare patients for medical tests and procedures

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

- Provide basic life support in emergency situations

- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment

- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow

- Assist with medical coding and billing processes

- Provide exceptional patient service and address patient inquiries

```Experience```

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or related healthcare position preferred

- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology

- Proficiency in medication administration techniques

- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and compassion

- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records

- Basic life support certification is required

- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus
