n time, analytical, technology-friendly, and driven by our mission to serve people with disabilities. *On a typical day this position will assist our members by:* · Managing members’ bank accounts and performing monthly reconciliations of funds, · Maximizing the benefits members receive and resolving payment issues as soon as they arise, as well as managing each member’s annual recertification process with Social Security, · Timely processing of all member bills including rent, utilities, and spending money to ensure participants housing, income, health, and basic needs are met, · Collecting required supporting documentation, maintaining complete and accurate records, and monitoring member funds for misuse, · Preparing reports of spending and financial standing and discreetly communicating with members, their families or guardians, DSPs, and other stakeholders regarding members’ financial matters, · Assisting the finance team in auditing and maintaining accurate data in the financial systems, · Advocating on behalf of our members for greater financial stability, including in matters related to benefits, employment, and housing, · Administering our pre-paid PEX card program, · Acting as the primary backup for the Medicaid billing process, and · Performing other administrative and finance department tasks as needed. This is a hybrid position, with 3 days per week required in office. *Benefits Available to Full Time Employees:* Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401k Matching, paid time off (19 day accrued annually), paid sick time, tuition reimbursement, eligibility for Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness, referral bonuses, flexible spending account. *Ideal applicants will have:* · Associates degree and 2 years accounting experience or 4 years accounting experience (nonprofit accounting including AR, AP, and reconciliation of bank accounts) · 2 years’ experience managing an agency based Representative Payee program, or similar trust or escrow accounting experience, · Experience managing Social Security disability and Medicaid benefits, SNAP, ABLE, DDD waivers, and other governmental benefits, · Proficiency with accounting systems and other business technology including Excel, SharePoint, and Teams. · Preferred: Experience with MyEvolv (or similar) billing system, · Highly Preferred: Working knowledge of Representative Payee programs and familiarity with Social Security and Medicaid policies and procedures *Equal Opportunity Employer Statement* Our House Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
