Our World Energy is Hiring an Office Manager/Permit Runner Near Denver, CO

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a hybrid Office Manager and Permit Runner. This role is essential in ensuring our office operates smoothly while also managing the timely acquisition of necessary permits. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

This function of the role will report to the National Permitting Manager for guidance, training and support.

  • Obtain permits from various city and county departments in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted promptly.
  • Accuracy and sensitivity of handling payments, checks, and financial transactions for permit submissions.
  • Track the status of permits and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with municipal staff and officials.
  • Utilize the company vehicle to travel to various permit offices around Denver and surrounding areas.

This function of the role will report to the Colorado Branch Manager for guidance, training, and support.

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Manage office maintenance and liaise with building management for repairs and services.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Support the Branch Manager with administrative tasks and special projects.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and manage petty cash.
  • Maintain and update office policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an office manager, administrative assistant, or similar role.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with permit submission is a plus, but not required.

Measures of Success:

1. Permit Acquisition/Approval: Maintain a minimum of a 95% on-time and accurate permit submissions and approvals.

2. Office Efficiency: Maintain an organized, clean, and efficiently running office, with all supplies fully stocked and equipment well-maintained.

3. Cost Management: Effectively manage office expenses within the allocated budget.

4. Task Completion: Complete administrative tasks and special projects by established deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
