Job Description:
As an Assistant Used Car & Lot Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership's used car inventory. Your responsibilities will include:
Check-in New Inventory: Receive new inventory, stock keys, and update systems with the correct received date to ensure accurate inventory records.
Maintain, Arrange, and Move Inventory: Organize and maintain the dealership's used car inventory, ensuring vehicles are easily accessible and arranged for display. Move vehicles as needed to optimize lot space and presentation.
Vehicle Inspections: Regularly check vehicles for damages, fuel levels, battery status, and other issues to ensure they are in proper condition for display and test drives.
Communication with Service: Maintain daily communication with the service department to schedule and coordinate vehicle inspections, ensuring timely preparation of vehicles for sale.
Monroney Labels and FTC Stickers: Ensure all vehicles on the lot have the proper Monroney labels (window stickers) and FTC stickers (Fuel Economy and Safety Rating labels) at all times, in compliance with regulations.
