Overview:

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers/Companions. As a Caregiver/Companion, you will provide essential support and companionship to individuals in need of assistance. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Help clients engage in social activities and maintain a sense of independence
- Monitor and report changes in client's health or behavior
- Support clients with mobility assistance and transfers
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

Qualifications:

- Experience or interest in social work, direct support, or caregiving
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices
- Familiarity with long-term care settings such as nursing homes
- Basic understanding of vital signs monitoring

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
