Job Title: Nursing Home Housekeeping Staff

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Nursing Home Housekeeping Staff. As a member of the housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing residents' rooms, common areas, and other facilities within the nursing home. You will also be responsible for proper waste disposal and laundry management.

Responsibilities:

- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing

- Ensure all resident rooms and common areas are maintained and cleaned according to established standards

- Handle and dispose of waste following established policies and procedures

- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursing home

- Operate cleaning equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner

- Handle and process laundry in accordance with specific instructions

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial services, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting

- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move heavy objects

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and order
