JOB PURPOSE / SUMMARY
The Colorado Account Manager is responsible for creating a touch point for all accounts within the state of Colorado through events, beer tastings/trainings, and check-ins. The Account Manager will also work with our in-state distribution partners to ensure proper quality and inventory management along with maintaining distribution in the North Front Range Region. A company vehicle will be provided to be used for visiting accounts and traveling across the city/state.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintaining account relationships and brand awareness with all Colorado Accounts
    • Managing all off-site events (8 a quarter)
    • Providing beer tasting and training to current accounts (6 a quarter)
    • Checking in all accounts for quality and inventory (150 a month)
  • Territory
    • 6th Ave South, Denver to Colorado Springs Mountain region
    • Supporting the territory of the other rep as needed, if they are sick, on vacation, etc.
  • Working with our distribution partners to ensure proper quality and inventory management
    • Building PO’s and invoices with 100% accuracy
    • Obtaining and giving marketing materials as needed
    • Maintain relationship with our Distribution Partners
      • Presenting at Sales Meetings
      • Trainings
      • Ride-alongs
      • Communication with Reps
  • Brand & Sales Growth
    • Support and grow all accounts in territory.
    • Build relationships with buyers and sales teams for all Outer Range Accounts.
    • Maintain complete and accurate account information and sales data in Hubspot CRM.
    • Strategically targeting key accounts and leading to distributors.
    • Find and create new accounts through prospecting and cold calling to increase account base, points of distribution, and sales
    • Identify and foster partnerships within the craft beer industry.

Our community outreach coordinator has a number of relationships with organizations in the county that need support for the betterment of our community. As an Employee at Outer Range Brewing, you are obligated to serve 2 hours of community service a quarter. This is 20.00/hour for hourly employees and part of the quarterly expectations for salaried individuals. Outer Range will compensate its hourly employees for up to 10 hours a quarter.

You must have excellent communication skills. You must be able to pay full attention and practice active listening. You must be able to read body language, and control your own. Master the nuance of voice tones. Be empathetic and understand what is not being said at times. Speak in specifics and be a subject matter expert. Be genuinely curious and caring towards your clients and potential clients, or partners and brands. Always assume good intent, don’t make assumtions and always be honest. Be persistent without pestering.
POLICY AND SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY
You will be responsible for reviewing suggestions, ideas, policy updates, and changes sent to you by both your direct reports, and by other admin looking for your input. Make these decisions with our company's values, mission, and goals in mind.

PHYSICAL EFFORT
This is a hands-on role. While a lot can be accomplished through online platforms, the Colorado Sales Manager is expected to frequent the on-site locations and stay engaged with both the teams, clients, and partners on a regular basis. This means lots of traveling, long hours on foot, and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment with many distractions.

OUTER RANGES COMMITMENT TO THE COMMUNITY
Outer Range is committed to giving back to the community, and has pledged to donate a certain percentage of their product, sales, and labor to the Summit Foundation. To achieve this commitment, we require every employee to give two hours to the community every quarter. Outer Range will pay for your time, up to 10 hours a quarter.

MOBILITY / FLEXIBILITY
Your normal place of work will be FMG Warehouse, Denver, Colorado, but as a term of your employment you may be required to work from any of the organization's establishments depending on where events take place. Outer Range Brewing Co. has company cars and transportation will always be available to the team for events when necessary.
NO SMOKING POLICY
Outer Range Brewing Co. operates a smoke free policy which means that smoking is not allowed anywhere on company sites including buildings, car parks and entrances.
