To support our growth and commitment to hiring exceptional performers, we are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer, Host & Network Security based in the United States of America (Remote).
You'll be securing OutSystems' cloud resources and assets in a manner that reduces security risk, minimizes security footprint, reduces mean time to resolution of security alerts, and proactively monitors and self heals known cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities. Reduce the need for the SOC to get called upon security alerts and create playbooks to automate the response to known security incidents. Ensure that OutSystems' meets compliance, security, and customer standards for hosting a cloud product. Create and automate security solutions to ensure OutSystems meets compliance policy standards and best practices.

Job Responsibilities & Expectations
  • Developing systems that automatically respond and remediate known security vulnerabilities or unsecure configurations.
  • Developing and creating systems that integrate into Security Operation Center and Individual and Account Management Tools.
  • Reviewing, auditing, and helping assist in writing compliance policies, along with remediating identified compliance gaps.
  • Reviewing infrastructure and tooling configurations to ensure that security posture is established,maintained, and continued throughout the Software Development LifeCycle.
  • Ability to identify internal infrastructure that is susceptible to known vulnerabilities along with being able to create solutions and lead programs to remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Development experience in languages such as: C#, Python, or Java.
  • Experience in 2 of the big 3 cloud providers: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with AWS Security Services such as GuardDuty and Security Hub; Networking services such as Firewall Manager and Web Application Firewalls; And IAM, Lambda Functions, CloudFormation services preferred.
  • Experience or desire to work directly with Security incidents, Security Teams, and Security Researchers.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, web protocols, and web hosting technologies such as IIS or Nginx.
  • Experience with Kubernetes environments, monitoring, and security best practices. CKA and CKS preferred.
  • Experience with IDS/IDP, AV/AM, Firewall, Integrity Monitoring systems.
  • Preferred experience with securing Cloud Infrastructure and assets in an enterprise level product.
  • Ability to communicate, coordinate, collaborate in world wide remote settings across the business to drive respective outcomes for the team.
