Ovadia Design Group is seeking a seasoned graphic designer to join our marketing team at our award-winning interior design and architecture firm. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the marketing coordinator and principal designer to create visual assets to support the brand’s story and capabilities. This work will include both internal and client related tasks on a day-to-day basis.

We are looking for a designer who excels in crafting compelling, thoughtful, and engaging visual content. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to seamlessly adapt their designs to reflect the Ovadia Design Group’s visual style and unique form of storytelling.

Responsibilities

• The Graphic Designer is a new role that will play a crucial part in enhancing our marketing assets, internal team guidelines, and business development decks.
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing Coordinator, maintaining regular communication to address graphic design needs across various projects, from marketing materials to pitch decks.
• Assist interior designers with necessary Photoshop updates for client 3D renderings.
• Uphold and enhance the creative integrity of Ovadia Design Group’s brand through thoughtful and consistent design.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as the leadership team to integrate feedback and ensure designs align with overall business objectives.
• Assist in various print projects, including signage, postcards, window graphics, packaging, and gift designs, among others.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging media concepts to provide recommendations for continuous creativity.
• Bonus: collaborating with the marketing coordinator to design and edit newsletter e-blasts using MailChimp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field
• 2-3 years of graphic design experience
• A strong portfolio showcasing a sophisticated aesthetic and experience from concept to completion.
• Ability to complete the design process, from research and concept development to ideation, revision, and final implementation.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and integrate feedback.
• Works well under pressure and manage tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Excellent eye for visual composition, typography, color theory, and layout design
• Thorough understanding of brand identity and the ability to uphold the creative integrity of the brand and brand guidelines.
• Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant software such as Canva.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite such as Docs, Excel, and PowerPoint when necessary.
• Strong knowledge or deep interest in interior design, architecture, and/or media trends landscape.
