Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Desktop Support Technician to join our team and provide technical assistance to our employees. As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure by resolving hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently. Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners - Provide technical support to end-users through various channels such as phone, email, or in person - Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity - Set up user accounts and permissions in Active Directory - Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets - Collaborate with the IT team to implement system upgrades and enhancements - Assist in deploying software updates using tools like SCCM - Troubleshoot VPN connections and remote access issues - Conduct software troubleshooting and provide end-user training as needed - Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role - Strong knowledge of Mac OS, Meraki, desktop support, Office applications, and network administration - Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently - Familiarity with DNS, LAN configurations, and mobile devices support - Experience with ticketing systems like Remedy is a plus Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.
