Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Construction Estimator to join our team, specializing in mid-rise and multi-family building projects in the Orlando region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and cost analysis, with a keen eye for accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of comprehensive cost estimates for mid-rise and multi-family building projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to clarify project requirements.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to understand project scope and challenges.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals and present to clients and stakeholders.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor bids for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines, providing regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Identify potential cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction techniques to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on mid-rise and multi-family buildings.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift) and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven track record of successful project bids and cost management.
