Role Description
We are seeking a motivated individual for a hybrid internship role as a Deputy Campaign Manager. In this role, you will be integral to our campaign, supporting strategic planning and operational execution. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the development and execution of campaign strategies.
- Coordinating and managing campaign events, from planning through to execution.
- Managing and mobilizing volunteers, ensuring effective team collaboration.
- Conducting research on key issues, demographics, and voter interests.
- Communicating with stakeholders, including voters, community leaders, and media.
- Assisting with outreach efforts and community engagement initiatives.
- Providing logistical support for campaign activities and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
This position is based in Santa Monica, CA, with the flexibility for some remote work. Please note that this is an unpaid internship position. However, the role offers invaluable experience in political campaign management and community organizing, providing opportunities for skill development and networking within the political and civic engagement fields.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Campaign Management and Project Management.
- Excellent Communication and Sales abilities, with strong persuasive skills.
- Prior experience managing campaigns or similar projects is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local Santa Monica issues and government operations is highly desirable.
- Keen attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines
