Role Description

This is a hybrid internship role for a Director of Communications at Owens for City Council 2024. As the Director of Communications, you will be responsible for managing press releases, strategic communications, media relations, and public relations. You will collaborate with the campaign team to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to promote the candidate's message and engage with the community. This role offers flexibility for remote work while being based in Santa Monica, CA.

Qualifications

  • Press Releases and Communication skills
  • Experience in Strategic Communications and Media Relations
  • Knowledge of Public Relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
