Vacation Rental Specialist

Overview:

• 1 years of experience working with a vacation rental company, hotel, or similar receptionist role

Responsibilities:

• You will assist guests by using your communication skills to handle high-pressure situations, while also overseeing general tasks and activities
• Greet guests and complete check-in and check-out procedures
• Manage bookings and reservations
• Assign rooms, verify payment methods, and verify room statuses
• Handle guest questions and requests
• Answer and forward phone calls
• Assist with administrative and clerical tasks
• Manage documents and maintain confidentiality of guest and company information
• Lobby upkeep and cleaning

Skills:

- Knowledgeable in Microsoft and Excel for data management
- Strong public speaking abilities
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers effectively
- Demonstrates professional phone etiquette
- Multilingual capabilities are advantageous
- Strong organizational skills for managing rentals efficiently
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Ability to negotiate terms and pricing effectively

Expected hours: 40 per week
