Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures to protect the organization's computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain security protocols to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and provide solutions
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activities and potential threats
- Develop incident response procedures to address security breaches promptly
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network security best practices are followed
- Manage access control systems, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in IT security or related field
- Knowledge of LDAP, TCP/IP, IPsec, and network monitoring tools
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation tasks
- Familiarity with incident response procedures and tools
- Experience with AWS cloud security practices is a plus
- Certification in security-related fields such as CISSP or CEH is advantageous

Pay: $62.84 - $68.45 per hour
