Role: Network Technician I

Location: Riverdale, IA.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Network Technician to assist their project team with migrating their Riverdale site from a PBX environment to a VoIP environment. This resource will:
- Support a staff Network Engineer and assist as necessary to complete the project.
- Walk through and identify where VoIP phones should be located and what network cabinets to connect to.
- Install phones on desks and review installation situations for potential roadblocks.
Musts:
- Past experience in a telephone environment
- Be comfortable with telephony acronyms and general network terms
- Be able to work in a team environment, have flexibility within the project requirements, and have excellent communication skills
- Have a high safety awareness of their surroundings
- Ability to physically walk through a large facility
Required Knowledge In:
- PBX
- VOIP
- NETWORKING
- TELEPHONY
Preferred:
- Network certifications
