What You'll Be Doing (aka Your Superpowers)
- Report Guru: Assist in filing corporate reports, including Annual Market Conduct Reports, Data Match Reports, Holding Company Forms, and all other state-mandated reports.Record Keeper Extraordinaire: Maintain all corporate records, licenses, licensure files, and other related documents.
- Complaint Commander: Acknowledge receipt of complaints, enter information accurately, gather necessary details, draft thorough responses, and prepare quarterly and annual complaint analysis reports.
- Filing Wizard: Handle policy forms, applications, advertising, and related documents with state departments of insurance. Keep meticulous records of filings, monitor state responses, ensure timely re-submittals, and notify all relevant parties once approvals are in.
- Training Maestro: Coordinate internal compliance training efforts, track progress, and submit updates to state departments of insurance. Become a Subject Matter Expert on the company's compliance needs.
- Research Prodigy: Regularly research and compile state guidelines, learn to conduct regulatory research, and coordinate with the Compliance team to monitor, review, summarize, and distribute reports on law or regulatory changes to all affected departments.
Your CredentialsEducation: Bachelor’s degree and/or Legal Assistant/Paralegal designation or equivalent experience.
Experience: Insurance, regulatory, and/or compliance experience is a big plus, but a good sense of humor, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn are even better!
