Director of Athletics (Full Time)

Overview:

To organize and support student participation in extracurricular athletic activities that foster physical skills, leadership skills, personal skills, growth in athletics and personal skills, an understanding and appreciation for teamwork, development of self confidence, and a knowledge and understanding for individual and team sports that promote respect and fair play for all athletes. Certified Intermediate Administrator will be responsible for extracurricular athletics in grades 6-12.

Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut certification in Intermediate Administration (Preferred)
• Valid Connecticut coaching permit (Required)
• Evidence of successful coaching and/or athletic administrative experience (Required)

Reports to: Building Principal / Superintendent

Supervises: In collaboration with the School Principal, supervises all personnel associated with the athletic program.

Salary: $90,000 to $110,000 depending on experience
