Responsibilities
- Conduct catalyst evaluation and testing to assess performance and efficiency.
- Design and operate process equipment for catalyst testing at lab and pilot scales.
- Troubleshoot and optimize catalyst testing apparatus to ensure reliable and accurate results.
- Analyze data and prepare detailed technical reports on findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research and development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all testing procedures.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in catalyst evaluation and design/operation of process equipment.
- Strong knowledge of operating, troubleshooting, and designing lab or pilot-scale catalyst testing apparatus.
- Knowledge of circulating fluidized bed operation, and/or reaction and fluidization engineering are beneficial.
- Prior experience in catalyst testing and in materials science including physical or chemical characterization would be a plus.
- Knowledge of process and automatic control equipment and soft wares (e.g., LabView or Ignition) are highly desirable but not required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and technical reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
