Product Manager – Specialty Gas Control Equipment

We are a fast-growing division of a well-established manufacturer of compressed gas control equipment. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about building specialty gas control products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead new product development, planning, marketing within compressed gas market
Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
Analyze market issues & develop new product solutions
Manage new product projects throughout the entire lifecycle of the project portfolio
Identify and fill product gaps in the market
Developing product pricing and positioning strategies
Translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
Improve the customer experience and drive growth
Drive product launches including working with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Quality and Leadership Teams, and deliver quick time-to-market
Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
Proactively build product awareness and understanding
Establish metrics, monitor, and adjust products based on performance against metrics
Become expert regarding market competition
Position Requirements:
Prefer 3-5 years of product management experience with industrial products; or sales of compressed gas equipment applications in food gases or medium to high purity compressed gases.
Technical background with experience or working knowledge of leak/pressure testing, hydraulics, pneumatics and related tools or industries preferred
Demonstrated success in defining and launching new products
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, communication skills
Excellent analytical, project management and planning skills
Ability to build strong, long-term relationships by providing superior customer care

Some travel, 35-40%
BS in Engineering or related science, or equivalent experience.
