Details of the Role

Our team at Oyna Natural Foods is in search of a dynamic person to fill the role of Assistant Food Production Supervisor and Brand Ambassador for our company. This role is a dual-focused role in that two days a week you will be prepping, cooking and packaging. While on the other 3 days, you will be setting up sampling stations in partner retailers as a Brand Ambassador.

While this role is immersed in our business from the beginning, this role has the opportunity to evolve and grow into a foundational member of our team.

The role of Assistant Food Production Supervisor and Brand Ambassador is an hourly position with a forecasted schedule of 32 hours in a work week. The schedule for this role is Wednesday through Sunday. In addition to a consistent schedule, This position will be offered a free lunch during production days, and all of the Oyna Natural Foods will be available for 50% off.

Overall Responsibilities

• Championing and maintaining the production process to ensure that quality standards are consistently met for our products.
• Manage the food inventory process in accordance to company standard
• Remain aware of potential food allergens and maintain food safety
• Representing the Oyna Natural Foods brand to all stakeholders
• Communicating the value of Oyna Natural Foods to potential customers, vendors and partners
• Work with the leadership team on field marketing strategies and initiatives.
• Attend retail stores that are partners of Oyna Natural Foods to showcase our products
• Create visually appealing displays in retail spaces, farmers markets and other designated locations to present the product offerings of Oyna Natural Foods.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience Expected

• ServSafe certification
• Clear understanding of food allergens, food safety and kitchen best practices
• Clear communication style with an emphasis on relationship building
• Dynamic personality that has an understanding of the dual-aspects of this open position
