The Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Manager is responsible for leading SHE programs across Ozark Material to enable the organization to drive injuries, illnesses, and incidents to zero. This role will be based out of Greenville, AL, and will be responsible for leading processes for SHE to develop, upgrade, and implement Ingevity standards and management systems. The SHE Manager will focus on advancing the company's capabilities in SHE. How you'll impact Ingevity: Develop and continuously improve SHE systems and programs. Identify patterns and trends in SHE performance and lead the development and implementation of appropriate responses. Track SHE regulatory developments, assess and communicate impacts, and implement programs to address needs. Manage process to develop, upgrade, and implement Ozark Materials SHE policies, standards, and guidelines. Develop and deliver training and identify and leverage best practices across Ozark Materials locations. Serve as the leader for Ozark Materials SHE audits and leverage learnings across the sites. Benchmark with other Ingevity sites to assess trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. What you need to succeed: Bachelor’s degree in safety and health, science, engineering or related field. Related experience may qualify in lieu of a degree. At least 5 years of comprehensive safety and health experience construction safety, ergonomics, safety culture change, and industrial hygiene in a production environment. High comfort level with computer work including Microsoft Word and Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. This role is eligible for relocation. Up to 50% travel required. This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. The successful candidate must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship to work in the US.
