As the Early Childhood Education Regional Manager your role is responsible for the people management and leadership of the assigned Early Childhood Education team. The manager partners with the Director of the Agency Child Development team to meet the needs of children and families in the communities served. The ECE Regional Manager partners with the Executive team to ensure Ozark Opportunities, Inc. mission, vision, and values are fulfilled through the education component.

We expect qualified candidates to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. 
  • Experience and ability to supervise effectively and efficiently following the latest management practices.
  • Soft Skills: collaborative, organized and good time management.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and performs Bi-Annual CLASS Pre-K Assessments per classroom, with cross-supervision analyzation and reporting of CLASS.
  2. Responsible for development and assignment of Home Tasks and AMI, as applicable.
  3. Partners for the development and direction of the Coaching Plan.
  4. Responsible for scheduling training and technical assistance for teaching staff.
  5. Partners for the School Readiness Agenda and curriculum of students, including the RISE Model.
  6. Manages Teaching and Classroom staff ensuring the Agency’s Policies & Procedures are followed.
  7. Maintains CLASS certification and other annual professional development (including CE’s) as required.
  8. Ensure classrooms are staffed appropriately.
  9. Monitors use of curriculum and ensures use to fidelity for classrooms.
  10. Partners for the tracking and submission of the Better Beginnings Grant.
  11. Ensures purchase orders are completed on a timely basis.
  12. Accepts responsibility for team performance, participating in self-assessments and other analysis of performance.
  13. Complete all timesheets, reports, and other data requests in a timely and accurate manner.
  14. Assist staff in the completion of the Professional Development Plan as required by Head Start Standards.
  15. Provides professional and operational assessments for project performance and future opportunity.
  16. Maintains Confidentiality and is a mandated reporter of Child Abuse and Neglect.
  17. Other duties as assigned.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Active and unhindered Driver's License with personal reliable transportation. Successfully pass Criminal Background including FBI fingerprint and Child Maltreatment checks.
  • Must obtain, if not already held, a Bachelor’s degree within 18 months of hire. Master’s degree is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Occasional lifting (able to lift up to 50lbs.) and moving of general office equipment, furniture and project materials. Long periods of sitting, reading, keyboarding alternating with long periods of standing. Frequent driving within the 6-county service area with occasional out-of-area functions/training.
