**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The **NRO Operations** **Manager** has responsibilities centered on the strategic growth of P.F. Changs through new restaurant openings. This is a hands-on position that will oversee and support new restaurants from both a planning capacity and operations support.

**Principle Duties & Responsibilities**

* Manages all facets of the opening training team, including but not exclusive to payroll, hotel & travel, per diem, meals, schedules, evaluations, etc.

* Communicates and executes the calendar of events at each assigned NRO and validates the execution of the calendar of events at any NRO in which they are not present at

* Attends and facilitates (when applicable) key NRO meetings; including but not exclusive to weekly status meetings, hiring expectation meeting, manager and trainer meetings

* Develop, write and edit NRO support materials

* Act as a liaison between the field and all departments who are directly involved in new restaurant openings

* Thorough understanding of the NRO budget and ability to manage the budget line items they are directly responsible for

* Works with a third party to negotiate the opening team hotel accommodations and hiring site (when applicable) based off of specific criteria outlined within company budget guidelines

* Manages and places applicable opening orders through the appropriate vendors within budget guidelines

* Identify NRO training needs and recommend innovative solutions to address performance gaps

* Conducts formal feedback sessions post-opening with pertinent parties; subsequently uses the feedback collected to make informed decisions on how to improve future NROs

* Assists and supports other department projects and initiatives unrelated to NROs based off of business priorities

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**

* College degree or some college experience desired, but not required

* 2-4 years blended experience in restaurants and/or NROs

* 2 years of experience in P.F. Changs restaurant management/operations

* Strong written communication, experience in proofreading, editing and writing with acute attention to detail

* Outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills; must be comfortable with communicating with all levels of leadership and employees of the organization

* Ability to think creatively when creating and organizing printed materials

* Strong project management skills from conception to evaluation, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to deadline

* Ability to work effectively under the pressure of deadlines and adapt quickly to shifts in priorities

* Self-disciplined, highly motivated and able to work independently

* Proficiency in MS Publisher, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

* Knowledge Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) preferred

* Passion for people, P.F. Changs culture and brand

**Working Conditions:**

* Must be able to travel extensively, up to 85% of the time

* Preference given to candidates based in or willing to relocate to Arizona. Also willing to consider candidates remote-based in CA, NY, NJ, TX, and FL.
