P3 Delivery is Hiring a Human Resources Specialist - Staffing Near Washington, DC

Position Summary:

P3 Delivery is looking for a talented HR Specialist with a strong background in staffing to join our team and help us attract and retain top talent. The HR Specialist - Staffing will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from identifying staffing needs to onboarding new hires. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of recruitment best practices, and the ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to hiring manager
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate further interviews with hiring managers.
  • Manage the candidate’s experience, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings.
  • Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and staffing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least one year experience as an HR Specialist or Recruiter, with a focus on staffing.
  • Must have knowledge of Human Resources Staffing and Recruitment, Job Board, Position Management and Succession Planning
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
