SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Columbus Auto Group in Columbus is looking for experienced automotive technicians. This is not another job; this is a career, and we are looking for experienced and career-minded individuals only. Previous experience is HIGHLY PREFERRED. We offer top pay and an attractive benefits package.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair
• Inspect the vehicle to determine if additional service and or safety work is required
• Communicate with service advisor about any additional work that is needed or required
• Let service advisor know if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
• Document work performed
• Communicate with parts department to order needed parts
• Save and tag parts if work is covered by warranty or requested by the customer
• Follow company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report all accidents to a manager or supervisor
