PA Inclusive is an agency that believes people with disabilities should live where, with whom, and in what they want and that those who want to work can work in an area of their interest in a ‘typical’ job in the community. Work and living support services can and should be delivered to support them how they choose. This program oversees unique Transitional Employment (TE) programs developed by PA Inclusive and Coffee Inclusive, as well as works with existing TE programs through OVR and ODP IDD Waiver programs for transition-age individuals 14-25.

Description*
The Transitional Employment Project Manager will coordinate select Transitional Employment(TE) programs of the agency, including through the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, the IDD Waiver system, school based programs, and agency-developed group Transitional Employment programs. This position will help to develop, expand and supervise assigned TE programs.

Job Duties*

  • Coordinate the development of the curriculum and outcomes of the Transitional Academy Social Club programs and the Inclusive Transitional Employment Program (ITEP).
  • Coordinate Transition Academy Social Club in all regions including but not limited to scheduling classes, and locations, training staff assigned to TASC, ordering supplies, and similar duties.
  • Train staff in all regions on the TASC and ITEP Program models.
  • Develop volunteer programs and training programs for high school students with diverse abilities as feeder programs to ITEP.
  • Monitor and supervise staff assigned for TASC and ITEP to maintain the high quality of the classes.
  • Work with our Marketer to market TASC and ITEP to grow the number of students including but not limited to going to community events, fairs, meeting with schools, etc.
  • Provide technical support for TASC and ITEP in all regions.
  • Set up enrollment systems for TASC and ITEP in all regions.
  • Assist in writing grants for TASC and other programs when required.
  • Track grants for TASC and other programs to ensure all requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Track all outcomes and data from TASC, ITEP and other programs including but not limited to pre and post-tests, interest inventory, etc.
  • Spearhead student strengths and weaknesses, and develop corrective and improvement plans to help students achieve the final goals and outcomes.
  • Instruct assigned OVR group programs in NEPA Region.
  • Complete billing through CWDS or other systems as necessary.
  • Travel to other offices at times to train staff or teach TASC classes.
  • Travel to schools/businesses in the NEPA Region.
  • File compliance for group programs in NEPA Region.
  • Work with assigned OVR and IDD Waiver Clients when needed.
  • Transport clients in own car when necessary for group programs.
  • Other related employment tasks as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field, Master is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience with youth and/or adults with disabilities/ID is required.
  • Experience instructing youth with Intellectual or Developmental Disorders is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in job placement services and support.
  • 2-3 years of supervising case managers and or support staff.
  • ACRES certified or be able to obtain ACRES certificate within 6 months of hire.
  • Leadership skills, mentoring, and coaching of staff skills are required.
  • Goal-oriented, outcomes tracking ability and deliverable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinking and ability to multitask.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment and as a member of a team.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record.
  • Must Pass Child Abuse History and Criminal Record Check Clearances
  • Must not be on excluded lists from State of PA Exclusion Lists for similar industries.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
