Entry Level 3D Technician/Lab Assistant

Job Overview:

Pac-Dent Inc. is seeking an entry-level 3D Technician/Lab Assistant that will be responsible for creating resin print profiles for 3D printers as well as performing a variety of basic and general laboratory research and clerical tasks determined by the field and scope of the particular research study under nominal direction. They may also perform tasks related to the research project independently, within broad guidelines and subject to periodic review by supervisor or other research staff.

Pay: $43,680-$52,000 per year

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Create resin print profiles for various 3D printers
• Performs laboratory experiments utilizing standard techniques and equipment;
• Collects project data;
• May perform routine logging and testing of samples;
• Processes, organizes and summarizes data, reporting experiment results using a variety of scientific, word processing, spreadsheet or statistical software applications or program platforms;
• Assists in the design of laboratory experiments, techniques, and protocols;
• Performs related laboratory maintenance such as maintaining and cleaning equipment and ordering supplies;
• May process orders or invoices, or undertake other clerical and simple accounting duties under the direction of administrative personnel
• May be required to lift, move and transport related laboratory equipment.
• May be required to work with a variety of hazardous materials.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 4 year BS of a research-related field and/or equivalent work experience, preferably in a Chemistry discipline.
• Experience is a plus (relevant course work may count towards experience)
