Requisition Summary
PACCAR Powertrain's Advanced Analytics team is looking for a Program Manager interested in all aspects of the data science cycle with a mechanical engineering background. A successful candidate will be curious, self-driven, analytical and excited to play with data. This position is located at our PACCAR North Texas location in Lewisville, Texas.
Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Onboard new parts for predictions by gathering information from mechanical engineers/data scientists
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure program success
• Coordinate activities to make predictions available to various end-users
• Define and evaluate key metrics and understand what moves them and why
• Ownership of conceptualizing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and visualizations
• Communicating technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders by translating complex findings and results into a compelling narrative

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

• 2 years of Mechanical Engineering experience
• Knowledge of:
• Diesel Engines
• Emissions regulations
• SQL and Python
• Ability to partner with cross-functional teams using strong written and verbal communication
• Demonstrable track record of dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing, and delivering results in a dynamic environment
• Initiative on solving problems and completing tasks in a reasonable time frame

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid understanding of analytics techniques and statistics
• Experience performing thorough exploratory analysis
• Emissions Compliance experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, preferably Industrial or Mechanical.
• Master's degree preferred.
