Description

Are you an awesome first line user support guru with a strong desire to make a difference in the community? Would you like to work in an organization where you’re valued for your contribution and have real work-life balance? Do you have a call to serve the senior community in our region? Read on, PACE North might be just the opportunity for you!

What is PACE North? PACE stands for Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly. We are a new and unique option for individuals 55 and older who qualify for nursing facility level of care and wish to remain in their homes as they age. What does that mean? We care for the elderly daily both at our state-of-the-art day center on Garfield near Hammond during regular business hours and as needed in their home. Never heard of us before. That’s okay, we’re new to the region. We began serving the elderly in 2019 and our service model is so popular it’s growing quickly!

Do we have benefits? Yes! Our full-time team members enjoy regular daytime work schedules, no scheduled weekends, plentiful PTO, and paid holidays. We also have great insurance benefits with health insurance available immediately upon hire and a 401k plan with matching contributions. Our dental insurance is free for all team members with a buy-up option if you need more. Finally, PACE North has a great team of professionals who are a joy to work with!!

What does an Application Specialist at PACE North do? At PACE North you’ll be fully responsible for first-line user support for software and applications, including user training, resolving issues, minimizing software downtime and other general software operational issues in a timely manner. You'll also provide support in the background, including software or other vendor coordination, upgrades, integrations, or other associated projects. You can expect to use a wide range of clinical administrative software and Microsoft 365. Finally, you'll be able to provide PACE North participants and team members with the most cheerful and professional service they've ever received!

Requirements

What qualifications should you bring to the table? We’re looking for that special person who loves serving others with a positive, collaborative approach. You should have a high school diploma or equivalent, but some college coursework is appreciated. We’d also like to see between 1 and 3 years of experience, particularly with first line help desk and user support. This is a great role if you enjoy learning new software, are naturally curious, smart with time management, and have no fear of navigating the unknown! It’s also critical to demonstrate strong interpersonal communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills since timely project and task completion is key to being successful. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with an inspirational, motivational, and humble approach!
