Role Overview: This position will be assisting Maintenance Technicians do preventative maintenance activities and repairing equipment as needed. You will be doing electrical and mechanical troubleshooting as well as working with hydraulic systems. Experience doing stick welding is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Maintenance Technician with checklists for inspection of equipment

• Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify, notate, and resolve issues

• Check mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems of facility to ensure functionality

• Assist Maintenance Technicians with all repair and installation activities

• Assist Maintenance Technicians with equipment inventory, tracking of supplies, etc.

• Keep maintenance logs and report on daily/weekly activities

• Work revolves mainly around the maintenance of conveyors (Belts, rollers, head and tail pulleys), ensuring proper belt tracking and greasing of conveyors

• Assist with maintenance of yard equipment (diesel and propane)

• Experience working with hydraulics

• Welding experience (stick and some mig)

Qualifications:

· Electro-mechanical troubleshooting & repairs in an industrial setting

· Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

· Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.
