This is a business development role where you will be responsible for estimating, sales, and management of concrete floor polishing and epoxy projects located in the Southwest Division for PDCI. PDCI is a leader in specialized concrete systems, installing over 20 million square feet annually. This position provides the opportunity to become a key member in our Arizona office, where it is your responsibility to generate new business through various avenues in the industry. Our company has 4 regional offices located on the West Coast, with our corporate office located in Sacramento, CA. Sales and Estimating experience is required. You must be a self‐starter, able to take initiative, be dependable, responsible, dedicated, professional, and able to multi‐task. Knowledge and experience in the construction industry is a big advantage.

• Responsible for account development and territory development through existing account follow up, lead follow up, target marketing and business development meetings
• New and existing account development, estimations on projects, proposal deliveries and material demonstration
• Interaction and involvement directly with customers including other estimators, building managers, corporate executives, bidding contractors, general contractors, and maintenance managers
• Primary sales focus is on industrial, manufacturing and retail environments / projects.
• Work closely with Vice President, entire Estimating Team and Operations Team.
• Position will be based out of our office in Phoenix, AZ.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of construction estimating / management experience is preferred
• Qualifying and closing ability, as well as a history of sales success
• The ability to work successfully both individually and within a team environment
• Solid time management skills and a strong motivation to develop new accounts and clients
• College degree preferred
• Generating bids and proposals, job budgets, working with the Sales team.
• Project takeoffs, estimates, project coordination, seeing a job through from start to finish.

Knowledge of industrial flooring (resinous flooring, coatings, epoxy, concrete staining, and concrete polishing) is preferred and a plus!
