PIRE’s Southwest Center is currently engaged in a 9-month, federally funded project that is dedicated to identifying necessary knowledge and infrastructure needed to support TSLGBTQIA Indigenous communities in Santa Fe County.
We are seeking a part-time (50% FTE) Research Associate II who will support the research team in implementing and coordinating this project at the Santa Fe Indigenous Center. The pay range for this temporary part-time position is $23.25-$25.25. There is no relocation assistance for this position.
- Must live in the Santa Fe, NM metropolitan area
- Associate’s degree or two year University/College equivalent required; or 2 years of applicable Social Science experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal/written communication, organization, and presentation skills
- Eligible to work for any employer in the US
- Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19
- Working closely with project director and the Santa Fe Indigenous Center to support and facilitate implementation of program activities
- Helping to ensure that project activities and deliverables are completed in a timely manner
- Handling multiple tasks simultaneously and fast-paced schedules with professionalism, maturity, poise, and confidence.
- Conducting data collection and data management
- Assisting in the preparation of findings (reports, manuscripts and presentations) for community groups, funders, and conferences
- Assisting and coordinating meetings and events according to project timeline and goals
- Community outreach including use of social media to reach focused community of interest
