**Summary**

To support and assist sales team to ensure successful results. Assist sales team with all administrative duties and fill-in for team members when the need arises.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

Duties include but not limited to:

* Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.

* Answer phones.

* Take orders and place orders.

* Track freight.

* Fax proposals.

* Delivery of faxes.

* Respond to customer calls and inquiries in a professional manner.

* Provide product availability to sales representative.

* Be the secondary point of contact for all customers when the sales representative is out of the office.

* Book freight-call trucking, border documents and air bills.

* Manage POs through receipt.

* Maintain call tracking metrics to assist with departmental reporting.

* Support process improvement initiatives.

* Produce reports, as needed.

* Report problems that occur and assist with the resolution.

* Utilize databases and written materials to look up and provide information to telephone inquiries.

* Develop customer quotes with pricing input including filling out required paperwork, routing for signature and issuing the formal quotes to customers in a timely manner.

* Follow-up on sales activities.

* Perform other duties, as assigned.

**Qualifications**

**A. Education and Experience**

Required:

* One year related experience and/or training.

Preferred:

* High school diploma or GED

* Equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

* Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

* Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
