Summary:
The Business Development Analyst at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our finance team supporting efforts to develop long-term growth strategies and investment priorities through data-driven analysis and strategic planning. This position involves assessing potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures through comprehensive financial analysis and due diligence and is ideal for someone who is strategic, analytical, and committed to upholding ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence, to assess the financial viability and impact of potential M&A transactions.
  • Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and other financial data to evaluate the financial health and performance of target companies and real estate assets.
  • Develop financial models to assess various scenarios, identify key drivers of value, and quantify potential synergies or risks associated with M&A transactions
Real Estate Transactions:
  • Focus on real estate-specific due diligence, including property valuation, lease analysis, market research, and property performance evaluation.
  • Evaluate potential real estate investment opportunities, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties, and assess their alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Conduct property-level financial analysis, including rent rolls, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and debt financing structures.
Market Research and Strategic Analysis:
  • Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the real estate sector and related industries.
  • Evaluate competitive landscapes and industry dynamics to assess the positioning of target companies and real estate assets.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and market intelligence to support decision-making processes.
Due Diligence and Transaction Support:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, and operational stakeholders, to coordinate due diligence activities and ensure timely execution of transactions.
  • Prepare due diligence reports, investment memorandums, and presentations for senior management, investors, and external stakeholders.
  • Support deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation processes, including purchase agreements, financing arrangements, and other transaction-related documents.

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, real estate investment, or related fields, with a focus on M&A and financial analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, financial modeling platforms).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to delivering high-quality work products.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and dedication to upholding ethical standards in financial analysis and business conduct.
Preferred:
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate markets, including property types, asset classes, and investment strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 annually
