Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic IT issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Log and document all support requests and resolutions in the help desk ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or specialized IT teams as needed.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
• Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are fully resolved and provide excellent customer service.
• Help maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree in IT or a related field is a plus.
• Basic understanding of computer systems, software, and networking.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
• Customer-oriented with a positive attitude and a willingness to assist others.
• Prior experience in a customer service or technical support role is a plus but not required.
