Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Construction Materials Lab Technician:

• The lab technician is responsible for lab testing of concrete, soils and other construction materials.
• Ability to read/understand project plans and specifications.
• Report data in a complete, timely, and understandable fashion.
• Complete daily time and labor reports in accordance with company policy.
• Turn in paperwork everyday attached to work order.
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• High School/GED diploma preferred, but not required.
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be at least 18 years old for entry onto job sites.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete/soil variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Job Related Required Qualifications (Minimum):

• American Concrete Institute (ACI) Certifications in lab testing
• Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Construction Training Qualification Program (CTQP) certifications in lab testing.
• Construction or engineering experience

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
