Strategically oversees assigned lines of business and manages the project management staff assigned to the work. Assesses the needs and goals of the client and leads the approach, messaging and communication channels in alignment with all team leadership. Possesses a deep understanding of the line of business from understanding product benefits and goals, market dynamics including competitive positioning, current audience sentiment and needs. Works directly with and builds relationships with VP of Marketing, Creative Director and team, and Line of Business leaders to drive the marketing campaign deliverables. Leads cross departmental meetings, using expert knowledge of multiple project management approaches to engage resources to meet deliverables. Uses leadership skills such as negotiation and influence to engage resources to commit to project goals and deliverables. Manages, provides guidance and supports project management staff to enable them to complete the projects effectively and in a timely manner. Oversees entire portfolio assigned line of business projects, analyzes data metrics, proposes improvements and keeps leadership and line of business stakeholders apprised. Essential Responsibilities: Oversee the development of creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for marketing and public-¬facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets. Conceptualize and execute multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels. Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establish budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes, and collaborates with internal teams including Corporate Communications Manager, Creative Director, Sales, Provider network, etc. to meet communication needs. Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads. Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis and optimize accordingly. Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets. Responsible for hiring, staff development, coaching, performance reviews, corrective actions, and termination of employees. Provide feedback, including regular one-on-ones and performance evaluations, for direct reports. Actively participate as a key team member in Manager/Supervisor meetings. Actively participate in various strategic and internal committees in order to disseminate information within the organization and represent company philosophy. Supporting Responsibilities: Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations. Follow the PacificSource privacy policy and HIPAA laws and regulations concerning confidentiality and security of protected health information. Perform other duties as assigned. SUCCESS PROFILE Work Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional experience strategically leading marketing initiatives and managing marketing projects and campaigns. Experience in database systems and project management tools and use of marketing automation software required. Supervisory experience preferred. Experience in health-related field preferred, with a preference towards insurance. Education, Certificates, Licenses: BS or BA in Design, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related experience required. Knowledge: Knowledge of and experience with traditional, online and social media marketing strategy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management, multitasking and decision-making skills. Ability to review and analyze data to make informed business decisions. Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work within a large and diverse team. Ability to learn regulatory requirements specific to health care, including Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial lines of business.
