- Analyzing cost structures, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing

- Monitoring market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and geopolitical developments to
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as production, finance, and logistics teams to align commodity procurement strategies with organizational goals and requirements.
- Identifying areas for process improvement, implementing best practices, and driving
Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, ethical standards, and corporate
- Overall, a Strategic Commodity Manager plays a vital role in optimizing the procurement process,managing risks, and ensuring the availability of essential commodities to support the organization’s operations and strategic objectives.
- Handles procurements in accordance with current purchasing processes and routines.
- Continuously work to reduce risks and dependencies in the range for which I am responsible.
- Responsible for setting plans and strategies as well as goals for assortment and fulfilment of these.
- Carry out supplier market analysis and supplier-specific analysis.
- Ensures continuous access to relevant “benchmarking” within the range.
- Provides market with relevant information about the ranges.
- Ensures compliance with agreements entered into.
- Responsible for ensuring that the supplier development work achieves set goals for quality,
- Actively contributes to improvement work in our business.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or commodity management roles.
- Strong understanding of commodity markets, pricing mechanisms, and supply chain dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings and favorable
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and senior management.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Supply Chain
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to integrity in all business dealings.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
