Job Duties:

Coach and Educator:

* Work collaboratively with staff to maintain the overall student experience.

* Attend Continuing Education sessions to expand knowledge for the benefit of the school and students.

* Keep the General Manager and Student Services informed about students and their individual progress.

* Ensure students acquire proficiency in correct terminology, contributing to their development as skilled and knowledgeable cosmetologists.

Classroom Preparation and Instruction:

* Prepare the classroom environment for effective student instruction.

* Provide additional support to students requiring extra attention to complete coursework.

* Be readily available to address students' concerns and questions.

Technical Skills Education:

* Ensure students are equipped with the necessary technical skills for success in their field, including sales, up-servicing, pre-booking, and goal setting.

* Follow Nova's curriculum and lesson plans, seeking approval for any changes or additions.

* Key in student grades and deliver grade sheets to students.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Full-Time Cosmetology Instructor, you will perform tasks of an Academic Leader, representing instructors, students, and the school in fostering an environment of excellence in cosmetology education.

Job Specifications/Qualifications:

* Instructor's License.

* Proven experience as an instructor.

* Background in the Cosmetology, Nail Technology, or Esthetics field.

* Passion for education and mentorship.
